With much sadness and some delay we have received information that Prof. Engin Arik and her collaborator Berkol Dogan lost life in a tragic airplane crash of the Istanbul – Ispara plane, on November 30, 2007. It is a big tragedy and lost for Turkey and Balkan physics community. We will keep memory on our colleagues, members and collaborators of the SEENET-MTP Network.
We mourn passing of colleagues Engin Abat and Mustafa Fidan, who lost lifes at the same tragic flight.
