On 17 – 22 August 2026, an intensive course on topics related to Matrix models in physics, properties of physical models defined on fuzzy spaces, and features of other quantum geometries in general, will take place in Bratislava. This will be a part of the CEEPUS network Quantum Spacetime, Gravitation and Cosmology. The school will be aimed at PhD students and early-career postdocs.
The intensive course program will consist of several lecture series accompanied by exercise sessions on the following topics: Introduction to random matrix models, Numerical methods for matrix models, Fuzzy spaces and fuzzy physics, Quantum geometry in matrix models, Spectral approach to quantum geometry, etc.
More information is available on the official website.
This intensive course will take place as part of the Quantum Spacetime, Gravitation and Cosmology network.
