{"id":1415,"date":"2016-02-12T07:54:41","date_gmt":"2016-02-12T06:54:41","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/demos.famethemes.com\/onepress\/?page_id=4"},"modified":"2025-06-09T12:52:10","modified_gmt":"2025-06-09T10:52:10","slug":"home","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/www.seenet-mtp.info\/seminar\/","title":{"rendered":"Seminars 2025"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The SEENET-MTP seminar series on Theoretical Physics is aimed at providing review lectures for researchers, postdocs, and students from the SEENET-MTP Countries, Europe, and all over the world on topics in Theoretical Physics, mostly in High-Energy physics and related fields.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The Online seminar in 2025 has two main aims:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>To allow scientific communication among the SEENET members in the period when the ICTP &#8211; SEENET-MTP Program NT03 is not financed<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>To help in the preparation in training of the students and young researchers involved in the <a href=\"https:\/\/phd.seenet-mtp.info\" data-type=\"link\" data-id=\"https:\/\/phd.seenet-mtp.info\">CERN &#8211; SEENET-MTP &#8211; ICTP PhD program<\/a>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The lecturers in 2025:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Thursday, May 22, 2025, 17:00 CET<\/strong><br><strong>Cosmological results from the Dark Energy Spectroscopic Instrument&#8217;s Year-3 analysis<\/strong><br>Dragan Huterer (<em>Professor of Physics, Associate Chair for the Physics Graduate Program, University of Michigan<\/em>)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Thursday, Jun 12, 2025, 17:00 CET<\/strong><br><strong>How to understand the complexity of the Cosmos<\/strong><br>Raul Jimenez <em>(ICREA, University of Barcelona, Spain)<\/em><br><a href=\"https:\/\/zoom.us\/j\/93997933961?pwd=zWPCCaV9rLCn0jWriLYrLNAYXhE8c1.1\">https:\/\/zoom.us\/j\/93997933961?pwd=zWPCCaV9rLCn0jWriLYrLNAYXhE8c1.1<\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Previous seminars (year 2022)<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">SEENET-MTP seminar series on Theoretical Physics is aimed at providing review lectures for researchers, postdocs and students from the SEENET-MTP Countries, Europe and all over the world on topics in Theoretical Physics, mostly in High Energy physics, i.e.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Quantum filed Theory<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Particle Physics<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Quantum gravity and strings<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Cosmology, Infaltion theory, Early universe<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Holography and AdS\/CFT, including holography and <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Black holes and related subjects from Theoretical Physics in general.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The seminars are expected to have about 1 hour for the main plus discussions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The principal schedule is one seminar per month on Wednesday at 17:00 CET time. This may be occasionally adjusted due to request of speakers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The seminars and afterwards discussions will be zoom-based.
