{"id":790,"date":"2024-09-19T08:55:35","date_gmt":"2024-09-19T08:55:35","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/phd.seenet-mtp.info\/?page_id=790"},"modified":"2024-10-26T20:26:29","modified_gmt":"2024-10-26T20:26:29","slug":"bucharest-2024-minischool-mathematical-methods-in-gravitation-and-cosmology","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/www.seenet-mtp.info\/phd\/bucharest-2024-minischool-mathematical-methods-in-gravitation-and-cosmology\/","title":{"rendered":"[Bucharest 2024] Minischool Mathematical Methods in Gravitation and Cosmology\u201d"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">We are delighted to inform you, that due to some additional support from CERN, EPS and SEENET-MTP,&nbsp;<b>the Seminar\/Minischool <\/b><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-center wp-block-paragraph\"><a href=\"https:\/\/events.theory.nipne.ro\/gap\/index.php\/seenet-mtp-seminar-bucharest-2024\"><b>Mathematical methods in Gravitation and Cosmology<\/b><\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><b>will be held in Bucharest from November 13 to 17, 2024.<\/b><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The confirmed lecturers and topics:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Calin Lazaroiu (IFIN-HH) &#8211; Towards testing quantum gravity using cosmological observations<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Cioroianu Eugen (Univ. of Craiova) &#8211; Various Formulations of Gravitational Interaction<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Katarzina Grabowska (Univ. of Warsaw) &#8211; Contact geometry and applications in high energy physics<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Rafal Suszek (Univ. of Warsaw) &#8211; Gauge symmetries and their higher analogues,<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The Minischool will take place on the Bucharest &#8211; Magurele platform&nbsp;in the seminar room of the Department of Theoretical Physics of IFIN-HH and in the National Library of Physics located nearby.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Participants should plan to arrive in Magurele on the 13th of November.&nbsp;<b><br><\/b><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The lectures will start from a introductory level and build up to the research level.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">They will be followed by tutorials\/exercises and discussions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><b><\/b><strong>Registration will open soon and end on October 21st, 2024.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Support for accommodation and\/or travel will be provided for a limited number of participants.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Early registration is advised. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">More information at <b><a class=\"moz-txt-link-freetext\" href=\"https:\/\/events.theory.nipne.ro\/gap\/index.php\/seenet-mtp-seminar-bucharest-2024\">https:\/\/events.theory.nipne.ro\/gap\/index.php\/seenet-mtp-seminar-bucharest-2024<\/a><\/b><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>We are delighted to inform you, that due to some additional support from CERN, EPS and SEENET-MTP,&nbsp;the Seminar\/Minischool Mathematical methods in Gravitation and Cosmology will be held in Bucharest from November 13 to 17, 2024.
