Several years ago the Faculty of Mathematics started with promotion of study programs to high school pupils in schools around Serbia and Belgrade. Faculty of Mathematics at the 7th EDU Fair 2010 Faculty of Mathematics several years in a row appears and presents academic programs in the largest and oldest event of this type in the Balkans that was held this year in the hotel "Continental " in New Belgrade from 11th to 13th March. At the joint stand of the Belgrade University, our faculty is presented within the Group of natural-mathematical sciences, together with the Faculty for Physics and the Faculty of Physical Chemistry. This exhibition brought together more than 80 higher education institutions including universities from abroad. Moto of this Fair - "What are you doing to study?", tells that the target group were primarily future students, but the target group were also graduates who wish to continue education in graduate academic - master studies. The fair was opened by Assistant Minister of Education, Bogoljub Lazarevic, who said that Serbia aspires to approach the world and European education system. HRH Prince Alexander of Serbia also attended the opening and addressed the visitors and HE Canadian Ambassador, John Morrison, Guest of Honor Country Fair. Every day from 11 to 18 hours visitors had the opportunity to become familiar with the offer of the local state and private faculties, high schools, colleges and educational institutions from Bosnia and Herzegovina, Greece, France, Italy, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Croatia, Canada and United States as well. Besides the opportunity to learn more about our study programs, the organization of classes and lectures, as well as how to pass the exams with Predrag Vujic, student of Informatics, Desanka Spasojevic, Aleksandar Stevanovic and Milos Stojic, students of proffessor module, future students have had the opportunity to meet and ask questions to doc. Dr. Zorica Stanimirovic, dean of science and associate dean for finance, prof. Dr. Zoran Rakic. Something that we can be proud, not only in this fair, but in general, are quality programs, facilities, technical equipment, the passage of students at a high level, friendly relationship between poffessors and students, cooperation with other related and less related institutions but certainly students are most interested in the possibility of future employment. It is known that there are no unemployed mathematicians, and mathematics teachers are regularly among the first in the lists of deficit of the National Employment Service. Certainly we are proud that we could tell our future students the allegations of this prestigious institution, and that is - IT professionals, software developers, web designers and financial analysts in Serbia will be by far the most wanted. Our students say it is not difficult to finish the Faculty of Mathematics if one is well organized, has diligent learning and they also discovered that the queen of the sciences, as well as our studies are more and more popular because of market demands that needs our graduates and this fact makes it easier for our graduates to get mobility and job abillity. Education Fair was organized under the auspices of the Ministry of Education and Belgrade, with the support of the Foundation of Prince Alexander Karadjordjevic, and graduates and their professors could also participate in numerous creative workshops and attend a number of useful lectures in the halls of the Baltic and the Pacific Hotel Continental.
