The numbers given above are estimates obtained from the number of people employed and their average salaries. The funding for research activities comes from the Ministry of Education and Science through national and bilateral projects with some countries. These projects are financed with rather modest sums. In one year there could be several projects which are financed, but there are times without a single financed project.
