Our 2007 Arnold Sommerfeld Summer School is coming up soon (October 1 – 12) with lectures by C. Beenakker, E. Frey, R. Griffiths, F. Haake, and U. Seifert. All lectures will be held in room 348/349; the updated schedule can be found here.
I would appreciate it if the ASC members who plan to attend could also sign up for the summer school (before September 23) by following a link on the above webpage. This way we will have a better estimate of the number of participants!
Since October 3 (Wednesday) is a public holiday we are planning a hiking trip with the participants (Brauneck and Benediktenwand). All ASC members are invited to join, a detailed itinerary can be picked up in room 348/349 on October 2.
